Toole earns second CSCAA Scholar-America recognition

For the second year in a row, standout diver Kellyn Toole has been recognized as a Scholar All-American by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. Toole earned the Honorable Mention recognition after a standout sophomore season.
SCIAC recognizes 178 Panthers on All-Academic team, every Chapman team above a 3.0

An impressive number of Chapman University student-athletes were again recognized for their work in the classroom. The Panthers placed 178 student-athletes on the SCIAC’s annual All-Academic team, the conference announced on Thursday.

Sophomore Kellyn Toole wrapped up the 2016-17 season with a seventh-place finish on the 1-meter board at the NCAA Division III Region 2 Championships. Toole finished her season at regionals for the second straight year.

Sophomore diver Kellyn Toole finished eighth on the 3-meter board at the NCAA Division III Region 2 Championships. Toole finished with a score of 387.20.
Record-breaking women's relay highlights day two

The women's 200 free relay team took third and two more school records fell to highlight day two of the SCIAC Championships for the Chapman University swimming & diving teams. With a third-place finish in the relay, the women's team stayed in fourth place in the team standings while the men's team stayed in ninth.

Freshman Molly Davis must not have been satisfied with the 200 free record she set on day one to lead off the 800 free relay. She rebroke the record today in the finals of the 200 free and took third to highlight day three of the SCIAC Championships for the Chapman University swimming & diving teams.

The Chapman University men’s and women’s swim and dive teams head into the SCIAC Championships this Wednesday, Feb. 15 through Saturday, Feb. 18. The Panthers had a historic showing at the conference championship meet last year as nine school records fell and the women’s team had its best finish as a team in school history.

The Chapman University swimming & diving teams wrapped up the dual meet season with a double against Cal Lutheran and Redlands on Saturday. The women’s team defeated Cal Lutheran 130-93 but fell to Redlands 139-82 while the men’s team fell to both Redlands and Cal Lutheran.

The Chapman University men’s and women’s swim and dive teams competed with Occidental College at the Allred Pool on Senior Day Saturday. The women’s team fell 152-126 and the men fell to the Tigers 171-83.

LA VERNE, Calif. – The Chapman University women’s swim and dive team defeated La Verne 146-90 and Mills College 182-40 in a dual meet at La Verne on Saturday earning the Panthers second win of the season. The men's team fell 139-74 to the Leopards despite several season-best performances.

Sophomore Kellyn Toole swept the podium at the SCIAC dual meet with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Saturday to qualify for NCAA Regionals. Toole’s qualifying mark makes her the first diver in program history to qualify for NCAA Regionals twice.
Swim & dive teams sweep dual meet with Caltech

The Chapman University men's and women's swimming & diving teams both took away team victories in a SCIAC dual with Caltech at Allred Pool on Saturday. The 147-125 win is the first dual win for the men's team over a SCIAC opponent since joining the conference in 2012-13.
