The SCIAC recognized 270 Chapman University student-athletes on its annual All-Academic list. Collectively, Panther student-athletes raised the bar for academic achievement as every team achieved a 3.2 team GPA or better.

The Panthers trailed 36-27 with 7:08 remaining in the third quarter after a 13-2 run that started at the end of the second quarter and carried into the beginning of the third. Chapman called a time out, regrouped, and went on a run of its own, cutting the deficit to four.

Julia Strand scored 31 points to lift the Chapman University women’s basketball team to a 69-64 win over No. 6 Amherst. The loss was just the second of the season for Amherst with the Mammoths' only other loss coming in double overtime.
